Acuatico Infinity Pool

They might as well just call themselves that – Acuatico Infinity Pool – because that’s all they’ve got going, really. So when you come to Acuatico, make sure to bring along your best friends. It’s probably the only way to feel that your 3++-hour trip to Batangas in an expensive room is worth it.

(2) Terraza Room
We took the Php12,300 per night terrazza room which houses 4 pax. Luckily for me, one of our friends who works abroad shouldered the bulk of the amount.

(3) Food at Acuatico
I cannot stress enough how UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED we were with the food. I mean, come on! How could anyone not know that part of a good experience is food. Sure, we already read some bad reviews, but we didn’t think it could be really be so bad. The breakfast was okay though.

Prices of these are around Php300.

Chami. This was tolerable.

Chef's Burger at Acuatico Resort

Chef’s Burger. The Jollibee burger is waaaay better. No freakin’ kidding. And I’m not even a fan of the Jollibee burger.

Afraid to eat at Acuatico again, we tried going to nearby resorts, and that’s how we discovered the real nature of the Laiya beach.

(4) The Beach
Not very far from Acuatico, as we were searching for somewhere to have dinner, is the public beach. Man, did that place reek of dog poop. That’s all I’m gonna say.

(5) The Infinity Pool
Aaah… the redeeming factor. I still wanna leave this post on a positive note, so here you go. It isn’t as big as it probably seems in the website, but it’s beautiful. We also enjoyed having wine in the bar in the middle of the pool.
